This is history.
This is Tradition.
This is BONFIRE.

Begun in 1907 off campus, near the rail station to celebrate an Aggie win over Tulane, Bonfire stood first and stands today as a celebration of who we are.

Over a process that lasts an entire year, students fill the boots of those who have gone before. They enact a memory of Aggies we lost, and rekindle perpetually a great legacy.

Bonfire is the foremost leadership lab of its kind in the world. Completely student led and executed, Aggie students test and form themselves and each other throughout the year-round process of building Bonfire.

Bonfire-motivated Aggies go on to change the worlds around them, in their communities, families, and professions.

Through building Bonfire, Aggies do not just acquire not competencies, strength, resilience, and courage.

The necessary product of the mission engenders a sense of duty and pride in sharing these gifts.

Aggies don't build Bonfire.
Bonfire builds Aggies.

Since 2009, Old Army Supply Co. has made the official shirt of every Bonfire season.

Every year, the back features the season's Stack and its Aggies after Last Shift. The front pocket is the outhouse, still made by the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band.

Due to this year's schedule for Last Shift, 2023 shirts are preorder only, to be shipped after Burn.

/ Support

Bonfire is completely student led and executed. But that work is only possible through your support.

Aggies are building Bonfire year-round, requiring equipment, tools, fuel, food, wire, cables, ropes, power, rentals, and more. By donating, you give students what they need to keep the flame undying.
